What To Look For

Welcome back to another episode Preview. Here you’ll find the layers of episode three peeled back as we check out What To Look For. This week we wrestle on top of semi-trucks, the rookies step up to the plate, and Lil Wayne teaches us about the nuances of the English Language.

  • They See Me Rollin’…

Video below contains a short clip of Episode 3. For those that wish to remain completely unspoiled, skip this section.

Based on this clip, this week’s daily looks like it could go one of two ways.

Door number one is that they all take it seriously and beat each other up on top of a moving semi-truck, leading to Mechie getting taken out by the Challenge Doctor for the second week in a row.

The second way this can go is like many of these similar looking challenges have gone before. Politics seep their way into competition and everyone begins throwing their individual rounds and maneuvering a previously agreed upon winner into victory with zero adversity.

Either way, this daily looks hella expensive. So it’s going to take up a hefty portion of minutes this week. Like, a lot of minutes.

  • Stripe Earning Season

The rookies since War of the Worlds have been a complicated bunch.

Theo has one good eye, Turbo’s a liability, Mattie’s probably not allowed out of the country anymore, Dee’s wandering around somewhere in the Czech Republic wilderness wondering what went wrong, Ninja sucks…and that’s just a handful. I could go all night.

This is probably why they Double Agents is so rookie heavy. Point is, they need some new life. The Big Brother people, while serving a purpose, ain’t it either. Wes and Nany aren’t going to do this forever, so they’ll need to fill those slots.

Amber? Mechie? Amber? It’s time the Challenge Gods let them cook a bit. I’ve got my cutlery and plate-ware ready to go. The House Sommelier just brought over a smooth, peppery, big bodied 2016 Barolo. I’m ready to see what this new menu’s got to offer.

  • Real G’s Move in Silence like Lasagna

There’s a lot of vets with big personalities and strong footholds in the game we straight up have not heard from. Darrell and Nicole haven’t had a chance to flex their physical game. Devin’s scheming has been mitigated. Theresa’s lost. The game theory this season might literally be too complex for Cory and Tori to figure out. Even Leroy’s been neutered.

It’ll be interesting to see who chooses to mix it up first. Especially if Wes and CT stop dodging bullets. My bet is Devin gets bored soon, and plots up a grand scheme to get somebody important out of the game.

Happy watching! Check back Thursday afternoon for a full recap of Episode 3. If you missed my Power Rankings, they can be found here. Happy Holiday’s everyone. Stay safe and eat way too many cookies!
