The Challenge Double Agents Power Rankings — Week 13
What a week! Three different guys left us for three different reasons, CT and Darrell got their Gold Tickets, and Big T lost her sparkle. So I have a fresh piping hot serving of Power Rankings coming your way to break it all down. Inside this edition Nam relinquishes the belt, Aneesa debuts a new superhero, Kaycee and Leroy make sense of the world, and much more…
20) Mechie (Eliminated)
19) Theresa (E)
18) Amber M. (E)
17) Lolo (E)
16) Josh (Last Week: 16)
Lolo going home and everything that surrounded it was a bit fishy. The whole scene of her deciding to leave carried a strange enough energy that the fans immediately began speculating and forming their own narrative around it. There’s plenty of rumors online, some forwarded by Lolo herself, as to why it all happened. Look, I’m not going to use this space to litigate something I have no control over. I can’t and I won’t go there. But the timing of it gets even smellier the further we get away from it. Lolo leaving led directly into a decision to make CT’s very earned power even more powerful. Coincidence? Again, not for me to decide. But I will say this…oh right. Josh. Go home and get some rest, big guy.
15) Devin (LW: 6)
*Chef’s kiss*
Bellissimo, Devin.
14) Nam (LW: 12)
As President and Chairman of the New Hot Guy Championship Belt Committee, I henceforth declare that Nam met none of the criteria considered crucial to being the current New Hot Guy Championship Belt holder.
While definitely hot, Nam lived up to none of the standards of being Hot during his time on Double Agents. Therefore relinquishing the New Hot Guy Championship Belt.
It’s been a turbulent time here at New Hot Guy Headquarters. This now marks four season in a row, three of those seasons being disgracefully vacated, without a true winner. I promise you, Nam was a disappointment to all of us here. But because so many factors were out of his control, upon return, while unprecedented, we’ve ruled that he may still be eligible for the New Hot Guy Championship Belt.
Thank you for your patience with us during these troubling times. We hope your donations continue to roll in, as your support means the world to us. Thank you, and keep being Hot.
We’re saying our big big big goodbye’s this week. Play em out boys, this one hurts across the board…
13) Cory (LW: 11)
I heard this story once (maybe on a podcast? Or was it a Netflix doc? It’s hard to even tell anymore) about a family on Christmas some time in the early 90s who had planned this huge vacation involving almost their entire extended family. This all seems innocuous, except that in their haste of leaving and all the fuss surrounding the departure, one of the children was left behind. You’re thinking no big deal right? Kid could just make a call to a neighbor or something right? Wrong. Turns out there were two burglars casing the neighborhood for weeks, waiting for this exact vacation to strike. And strike they did. Unfortunately for them the combination of their stubborn, headfirst attitude and the burgeoning sociopath tendencies simmering beneath the surface of this young child beginning to manifest themselves now that he’s left to his own devices, it turned out to be a bad night for everybody.
This season Cory is starting to feel a bit like the that boy who got left behind.
12) Gabby (LW: 14)
Tori….see ya later
Natalie….pregnant
Ashley….see ya later
Theresa….injured and pregnant
Amber M…..too small
Gabby…..???
The Cory Curse has latched it’s claws onto it’s next victim. Will Gabby get pregnant? Will Gabby break her arm? Only time will tell. She certainly won’t just like, ya know, participate for very much longer.
11) Big T (LW: 5)
10) Mature Nany (LW: 15)
I don’t know what in the world she’s crying about. Her chances of snagging a win in one of these last few daily’s just rose astronomically.
Wait a second, did I just earnestly wonder why Nany was crying about something that wasn’t worth crying about? Nany? Sorry everybody. I lost myself for a second there. I’ll get it back.
9) Aneesa (LW: 9)
Now introducing…. Captain Obvious!!!
She’s here to say things like “you guys don’t understand how much TJ hates quitters.”
And also, “you guys don’t understand, Cory has kids”
What’s next Nees? You gonna remind me what day my birthday is?
8) Amber (LW: 13)
That Darrell co-sign is more important than we think. Last time Darrell so clearly attached his name to a women was Cara Maria. While that didn’t start out so hot, and it didn’t end so hot either, but we all know what happened in the middle of that Oreo.
7) Fessy (LW: 8)
Leroy
Kyle
Darrell
CT
Fessy
Those are some of the most storied names in franchise history, and then there’s Fessy.
Those are some of the most talked about, discussed, and parsed through characters in the history of The Challenge, and then there’s Fessy.
Most of those names would be at or near the top of any general poll of favorite male Challenge competitors, and then there’s Fessy.
6) Kaycee (LW: 6)
I’ll tell you what. The idea that Kaycee and Leroy don’t talk at all and never hang out in the house makes more sense to me than most of the relationships I have in my own life.
5) Kyle (LW: 4)
Hey Kyle, how do you feel about everything that went down last week? About losing the top partner in the game? About the entire foundation from which you built your standing in this game leave along with it? About being with a partner that you know deep down doesn’t want to be with you? About your competition going from Devin and Josh to CT and Darrell?
4) Darrell (LW: 10)
I believe it’s pronounced tangram, Alfred.
3) Leroy (LW: 3)
Over here at the Leroy Fan Club Headquarters things have gotten a bit more tense than they have been in awhile. Adding CT and Darrell into the mix is just a bit too dangerous for our liking.
Send your internet thoughts and prayers our way. We haven’t had to pack up our things and leave quite yet, but we know the end of the road is near. Now it’s just a matter of finding out what kind of budget we’ll have for the end-of-season party.
2) Kam (LW: 1)
Okay the thing is, sure, CT may have given her the Heisman on day one and rejected her. Then yeah he, I’m sure he was regretting it ever since. But when they replayed that clip where Kam approached CT about a potential partnership, there was one thing I must have not contextualized properly the first time.
Kam made a terrible sales pitch!
Her sell job was so bad! When approached during this game-changing level decision, CT volleyed back to her a simple question, “why?”
He didn’t ask anything complicated, he just asked for the elevator pitch. Two sentences. Her response?
“I’m Killa! I’m Killa!”
I’m a huge Kam supporter. She’s been running this house since roughly that moment, but the fact that CT didn’t pick her is almost as much her fault as it is his. You can’t come to the biggest job interview of your life with “I’m Killa”.
Nature always finds a way, now that she’s back with CT we’ve come full circle. But it’s just funny to think that Kam, one of the slicker talkers this show has seen in recent years, get totally tongue-tied when faced with convincing a legend of her worth in real time. Speaking of…
1) CT (LW: 3)
I have always wondered some things about the Challenge God’s decision making process. Let’s just say so far this season CT has had some…help.
Yeah, let’s go with help.
He was thrown a bone on the first elimination night when, and this is unverifiable and total guesswork (but it certainly smelled like poop), instead of a disaster Wes vs. CT start to the season, it was switched to a women’s night instead. And then last week, the Challenge Gods basically handed CT the keys to the car. They made it a double elimination, put The Goof into The Crater and said, “okay Chris, you go have fun with your friends”.
Then before you could even say “tangerine puzzle” CT and Darrell had their tickets to TJ’s Final, and Devin and Josh had their tickets back to America.
